I've been trying hard. Through 4 1/2 weeks I'm down 10 pounds. 1/2 the battle is nutrition. 1/2 the battle is fitness. If you are just starting, here's a simple work out plan to get you going:

I'd also recommend some good cardio. Just walking briskly at 4 miles per hour for 30-45 minutes is a great start!
I LOVE THESE....

I love french fries, especially with some melted cheddar cheese. It is so NOT good for me... or you. Looking back, I used to probably eat 2/3 of my calories from carbohydrates. Now i'm down to about 40% and try to keep my protein and fat at about 30% each. Here's an explanation on why carbs are so bad for you if you are trying to lose weight or maintain it.

HOW MUCH ARE YOU EATING?

Eating healthier foods is great, but not if you eat too much. On the other hand, unhealthy foods wont kill you if you eat them in moderation. I've been trying to lose weight and i've found that if you eye ball something and guestimate the size, you could be over or under estimating size and calories. That can really mess up your plan. Here are some ways to help:
