NAME � David J Born and raised in San Jose, I was the kid who was always calling the radio stations and requesting my favorite songs and waiting by the radio ready to record the "instant request". Then, in 1998�.I got a chance. Radio has brought me to 9 cities in 12 years and I'm loving every minute of it! While in high school, I started off rollin' with the party crew at Wild 94.9 in San Francisco for 2 years. I then went to Monterey to do mornings, south to San Diego where I was apart of the morning show as well, then hit up Phoenix, Arizona for 3 years....a quick stop in Modesto to host afternoons...nights in Monterey....all before heading home to Wild 94.9 where I hosted nights for 2 years then 107.9 The End in Sacramento. A stop back in Phoenix to host mornings at KZON, now my new home is here in Atlanta where I host afternoons on "The NEW WiLD 105.7 & 96.7"!!!!! ATLANTA DEBUT � August 2nd, 2010 MORE INFO... I've worked at 9 stations in 3 states, had 3 radio nicknames (Gringo Suave, Joe Breezy, David J.) and I've been fired twice. (google, "Joe Breezy fired" if you're exremely bored;) * My Boston Terrier named Lucy pretty much kicks major a**! (and sniffs it too...what? no seriously) I actually taught her how to spoon on command. This skill comes in handy quite often with a few adult beverages in my system after a lonely night at the club. * I was a lifeguard for 6 years and a certified EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) * USELESS FACTS: Been featured on a few reality shows (will never tell you which ones;) I'm a boy-band retiree...and one time got a nasty voicemail from Diddy demanding I take down a particular youtube video I posted..( I will never tell a soul that story;) *My parents and sister are the most loving and supporting family I could ever ask for. I actually owe them a ton of money..which is probably explains why they still accept my phone calls....from time to time.
